The arrest warrant against Sudanese President Omar Al Bashir
On 4 March 2009 the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant against Sudanese President Omar Al Bashir, on two counts of war crimes (intentionally directing attacks against civilians and pillage) and five counts of crimes against humanity (murder, extermination, forcible transfer, torture and rape).
